Boys Hostel
The hostel is the reason this complex exists. Students come from valleys and villages where the nearest secondary school is hours away — living on campus is what makes their education possible at all.
The building has separate residential floors for boys and girls, each with its own supervision, and the academic floors and dining are in the same building. Students do not travel to study.
The boys' residential floor provides shared rooms with storage for each student, supervised by resident wardens who live alongside the routine they manage.
Boys follow the same daily structure as the rest of the campus: fixed times for meals, classes, supervised study, recreation and rest. Wardens are responsible for attendance at each of these, and for contacting families when something needs to be raised.

Girls Hostel
The girls' residential floor is entirely separate from the boys' accommodation, with its own supervision and its own access arrangements.
For many families in the region, a secure and properly supervised residence is the deciding factor in whether a daughter continues her education past primary level. That is exactly what this floor was built to provide, and we encourage parents to come and inspect it before applying.

Hostel Facilities
Accommodation, meals, study facilities and supervision are all part of the same arrangement — families are not asked to piece them together separately.
Rooms & Storage
Shared rooms with a bed and personal storage for every student, kept clean and heated through the Skardu winter.
Meals
Regular, balanced meals prepared on campus and served at fixed times, included in the hostel arrangement.
Study Facilities
Access to the library and computer lab on the academic floors, with supervised study hours every day.
Welfare & Health
Resident staff who know each student, and established arrangements for medical attention when a student is unwell.
Supervision
Wardens resident on each floor, responsible for discipline, routine and the safety of students in their care.
Contact With Home
Arranged contact with parents and guardians, so families stay in touch with students living far from home.
Daily Routine
The day runs to a fixed structure. Exact timings are set by the campus and issued to students and parents at admission.
Morning
Students rise at a fixed time, attend morning prayers and breakfast, and prepare for the school day.
Class Hours
The academic timetable runs on the teaching floors, with attendance taken and monitored by staff.
Midday
A break for lunch and prayers, taken together in the dining area before afternoon activity resumes.
Afternoon
Remaining classes, followed by time set aside for sports, recreation and rest on the campus grounds.
Evening Study
A supervised study period on the academic floor — a fixed, quiet hour that every resident student attends.
Night
Dinner, prayers, and lights out at a set time, with wardens confirming every student is accounted for.
Meals & Dining
Meals are prepared on campus and served at fixed times in the dining area. Three meals a day are included in the hostel arrangement — no student has to make their own arrangements or go without.
For a number of our students, the meals here are more regular and more balanced than what would be available to them at home. We treat that as a serious responsibility rather than an incidental service.

Rules & Regulations
These rules exist so that students living away from their families are safe, supervised and able to study. They are explained to every student and every parent at admission.
- Students must remain within the campus except with the permission of the warden
- Attendance is compulsory at meals, classes and the supervised study period
- Fixed timings for rising, study, meals and lights out are to be observed by all residents
- Boys and girls remain on their own residential floors; the accommodation areas are separate
- Students are responsible for the cleanliness and order of their own room and belongings
- Visitors are received in designated areas and during permitted hours only
- Leaving the campus for home or otherwise requires prior written permission from parents or guardians
- Conduct that endangers or disturbs other students is treated as a serious disciplinary matter
A full copy of the hostel rules is provided to parents and guardians at the time of admission, and students confirm they have understood them before moving in.
