Academics at Al-Abbas Educational Complex run out of the purpose-built academic basement, with classrooms, a computer lab and a library on site.
Teaching built around students who board on campus
Because most of our students live on campus, teaching does not end when the last class does. Supervised study is part of the daily routine, and staff are on hand during those hours rather than only during lessons.
Core Academic Programme
Classroom instruction in the main academic subjects, following the curriculum applicable to schools in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Computer & Digital Skills
Practical sessions in the on-campus computer lab, giving students access to equipment many would not have at home.
Moral & Character Education
Guidance sessions covering conduct, responsibility and community, delivered alongside the academic timetable.
Supervised Study
Structured evening study hours held on campus, supervised by staff, built into the residential routine.
Classes & Grades
Students are taught in class groups appropriate to their level, with class sizes kept small enough that teaching staff know each student individually.
Because students arrive from a range of schools across the region, new entrants are placed after an assessment rather than on paperwork alone. This makes sure a student is neither held back nor pushed into a class they are not ready for.

Academic Support
Because our students board on campus, support does not stop when the last class ends. It is built into the daily routine.
Daily Supervised Study
A fixed study period every day, supervised on the academic floor, so students have a quiet place and time to work.
Individual Follow-up
Students who fall behind are identified early through routine review, and given additional help rather than left to catch up alone.
Resources On Campus
Library and computer lab access for students who have no equipment, internet or study space available at home.
Examination & Results
Students are assessed regularly through the year rather than only at the end of it, so that difficulties surface while there is still time to act on them.
Results are shared with parents and guardians, and where a student is struggling the campus contacts the family directly rather than waiting for a scheduled report.
