About Al Abbas Educational Complex
The Al Abbas Educational Complex is a purpose-built academic and residential facility established to support the educational, social, and moral development of students from underprivileged and low-income families. The foundation of the building was laid in May 2019, and the entire structure was completed in June 2022.
The complex consists of five floors, including an academic basement, administrative block, and separate residential floors for boys and girls.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To make quality schooling reachable for students from remote and low-income households in Gilgit-Baltistan, by providing education, safe accommodation and daily care on a single campus.
Our Vision
A generation of students from the region who complete their education with confidence, and return to their communities as capable, principled adults.
Our Values
Dignity in how students are treated, discipline in how the campus is run, transparency with the families and donors who support us, and care that extends beyond the classroom.
Chairman's Message

From the Chairman
When we began this work, the problem in front of us was simple to describe and hard to solve. Families in the valleys around Skardu wanted their children educated. The schools were too far, the roads too difficult, and the cost of living away from home beyond what most households could carry.
Al-Abbas Educational Complex exists to answer that. A student who would otherwise stop studying after primary school can live here safely, eat properly, and continue.
To every family who has trusted us with their child, and to every supporter who has helped us build: thank you. The building is finished. The work it was built for continues.
Chairman, Al-Abbas Educational Complex
Director's Message

From the Director
A residential campus is judged on the ordinary days, not the occasions. Whether meals arrive on time. Whether the study hour is actually quiet. Whether a student who is struggling is noticed before it becomes a crisis.
That is where we put our attention. Our staff live alongside the routine they supervise, and academic support is built into the daily timetable rather than offered only when a student falls behind.
Parents are welcome to visit the campus and see how it runs. We would rather you form your judgement in person than from a page on a website.
Director, Al-Abbas Educational Complex
Management & Staff
The complex is run by four teams working together — administration, teaching staff, resident hostel wardens, and the kitchen and support staff who keep the building running.

The campus office is the point of contact for families. Admissions, student records, fee matters and all correspondence with parents and guardians are handled here during published working hours.

Academic Staff
Teaching staff responsible for classroom instruction, assessment, and the supervised study sessions held on campus.
Hostel Wardens
Resident supervisors for the boys' and girls' floors, responsible for daily routine, discipline, welfare and contact with parents.
Kitchen & Support
Kitchen, cleaning and maintenance staff who keep meals, living areas and the building itself in working order.
